| Abstract | The main objective of the present work was to compare temporally reflectance (visible and infrared spectral regions) and albedo in the shortwave region determined by two different strategies: considering radiometric normalization method and applying the Second Simulation of the Satellite Signal in the Solar Spectrum (6S) atmospheric correction code. Images of the TM/Landsat 5 sensor from Passo do Lontra Corumbá (MS) region were acquired in three different dates (12/09/1999-reference, 28/09/1999 and 30/09/2000). The albedo and reflectance values were calculated from the equation proposed by Liang (2000). Ground measurements using a piranometer CM5 and a net radiometer CNR1 of the Kipp&Zonen and quantum LI-190SA of the Licor Incorporation were performed and considered as ground truth. The adoption of these two strategies in the temporal comparison of radiometric data will achieve different results. | |||
